Chateau L'Enclos

In the late 19th century Pierre Larroucaud decided to combine his family’s separate plots of vines and build a house at the centre of the new estate, near the hamlet of Grand Moulinet. With great attention to detail, he oversaw the construction of a vat room, wineries and cellars around the main house. This new estate took its name from one of the original plots: Enclos. In 2007, after being passed down between ten generations of one of Pomerol’s oldest families, Château L’Enclos came under the ownership of Stephen and Denise Adams.
